A day in the life...
It's always difficult to really get a feel for what the work of a solicitor is all about, on a day-to-day basis. Therefore we asked some of our trainees and those who've recently qualified, to tell you about some of the work, tasks and challenges they faced during one day of their recent seats.
We also thought you'd like to read about the two New York secondments that have now been completed. Henry Stewart was our first trainee secondee to the US and he tells you about his 'day in the life'. Henry qualified into Commercial Litigation in September 2008. Sascha Grimm was our second trainee to make the trip to 750 Lexington Avenue in February 2009, she tells you about her time there. Sascha qualified into IP in September 2009.
