International Work
In our practice areas, the work we do rivals that of the largest City firms but your training experience will be a very different one. Whether our clients are forming, merging, acquiring, selling, suing, defending, arbitrating, innovating or complying, much of the work will emanate from the US, Bermuda, Africa, Hong Kong and Europe. It will often involve cross-border elements, requiring the examination of conflicts of law, international enforceability and jurisdictional disputes. Across the firm, our lawyers have skills in a wide range of foreign languages and in London these include Mandarin Chinese, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

The merger will further strengthen the international nature of our practice in London, as well as providing exciting opportunities for secondments outside London.

"Whilst in the New York office I experienced a variety of types of work, including litigation and corporate. I was also able to work alongside many individuals from different offices and departments and helped advise on a number of English law and market issues. I also worked closely with one of my former supervisors in London, assisting with the hearing of an international arbitration, upon which I'd worked a year earlier."
