Our trainees are a highly visible and integral part of these working teams. You will be really encouraged to add something to the cases you are working on.

You will be expected to accept as much responsibility as you can handle but with a great support network so that you do not feel out of your depth. As well as guidance from experienced lawyers, you will also have the support of highly committed paralegals and information specialists, allowing you to focus on developing your commercial legal skills.

You will also start to learn the vital skills of business development. We are proud that some clients have worked with individuals at the firm who during the relationship have graduated from trainee to partner! You will be invited to attend appropriate firm and industry seminars, as well as celebratory events. Trainees also have an important part to play in article writing, both for internal and external publications as well as helping associates and partners prepare for speaking engagements. Trainees begin to develop their own presentation skills not only through skills training but also by taking an active role in internal firm progress meetings and various committee meetings.
