What are we looking for
  • We want candidates with excellent academics who have or are likely to achieve a 2.1 degree or above and have at least 300 UCAS points (3 B's at A Level) or equivalent.
  • You need to demonstrate good analytical skills, combined with lots of common sense.
  • You should be self-motivated and like to get involved in lots of activities outside your studies, showing a good level of commitment and achievement in these.
  • We like to get a sense of your enthusiasm, energy and commitment.
  • We value great communication skills and look for evidence that you've worked in teams, taken on responsibility and are not afraid of hard work.
  • You need to show an understanding of business issues/commercial awareness.
  • We like to read applications from individuals who have interesting achievements and who can be perceptive about the things they have done and learned from their experiences.

Selection Procedure
  • We invite candidates to apply for a training contract and/or summer placement by submitting our online application form.
  • We recruit two years in advance for training contracts and only have one intake per year in September.
  • Assessments and interviews take place in late August/early September. Candidates attend an assessment session where they take part in activities designed to test their team working, leadership, listening and business thinking skills. We also test numerical and critical reasoning abilities. If you are successful through these sessions, you will go through to a 2-partner interview in the afternoon.One to one feedback is given on the day, to those candidates who are unsuccessful and do not make it through to interview stage.
  • Remember that if you do make it through to assessment then we want you to be as good in person as you are on paper!
  • The offer of a training contract is conditional upon us receiving satisfactory references.
