These are very exciting times for all our lawyers in London. Our merger in 2008 opened a new chapter in our expansion and we have recently established significant new practices in IP, Private Equity and Venture Capital and Competition, building on the core strengths of these prominent practices in our US offices.

Our more established practice areas continue to thrive, with our work becoming increasingly international in flavour. As well as working regularly with our clients and colleagues in the US, we have a co-operation agreement with the Bermuda firm Marshall Diel & Myers, where one of our former senior associates is now based. We also have a busy and flourishing Hong Kong office which has just celebrated its first anniversary. We are proud to be able to offer regular trainee secondments to our offices outside London, most recently in New York.

We think our firm offers trainees something unique, the best quality international work, with plenty of opportunities for secondments and travel, in the supportive structure of a small, strong, established city practice. Our trainee intake is select, ensuring that we give you great training in a very interactive working environment. Trainees are a highly visible and integral part of our working team. We are fiercely proud of the collegiality, support and responsibility we can offer all our trainees.
